1993 Porsche 911 RS America.
Vehicle was last registered in 2001 and clean Carfax shows last mileage reported at 29,562 in 11/2001. Prior to its arrival at Bilt Racing Service, car was serviced by Fisher Motors in Barrington, IL and Hairy Dog Grrrage / Daniel Jacobs LLC in CT with roll cage fitted by Cage This.
All brand new this year are OMP seat, Schroth harnesses, Motorola radio, all safety nets, H&R coilovers with Hypercoil coils, pads, rotors, wheel bearings, Sabelt steering wheel, Cool Suit, AIM MXL2 data system with Smarty Cam HD GP, complete engine rebuild by Werner Machine, new OMP firesuppression system, new Hoosier R7 tires (stickers). Lots more was done during this process - please see the list below.
Chassis of car is not perfect and has seen over 15 years of track only use. Composite front and rear bumper, light weight composite wing. No body work was done during the refurbishing process.
Engine- Completely tore down, coated bearings, Mahle reconditioned cylinders from LN Engineering with nikasil coating, Mahle Pistons with Calico Coated skirts, OEM Rings. Custom tune for 100 Octane.
Heads were rebuilt by Werner Machine, Injectors were rebuilt and bench flowed by Injector Connection in Cumming, GA.
Transmission- 5 speed transmission was inspected and re-installed with new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel.
Car was fitted with Cup Car Power Steering by prior owner.
New Motorola 200PD radio kit with handheld unit. IMSA end car harness with mounted push to talk button.
New AIM MXL2 data system with throttle position, brake pressure, oil temp, oil pressure, steering angle, GPS receiver, volts, wheel speed.
All upgrades and required maintenance performed by Bilt Racing Service in Momence, IL.
