Service engine light is on. Check engine light is not on.
SRS and airbag fault code is on.
fog lamp bulb failure code is showing.
Heat does not work (explained below)
Radio is decent aftermarket radio, but a poor installation.
Vehicle actually runs really well and smooth. No real engine or transmissionconcerns
Seats are in good condition
air suspension replaced with coils (pump still under hood and works as far as I know)
Interior is actually in fairly good condition
The aftermarket radio has some nice features and with a better installation it could be a very nice radio. Video, backup camera, touch screen.
tires are BF Goodrich and still have some good mileage left on them.
The heat does not work because I bypassed the heater core under the hood because of a leak in the passenger floorboard. My research indicates it is more than likely the O-rings from where the hose nipple connects into the heater core or a broken hose under the dash. Does not affect engine operation.
The vehicle cranks and runs every time. It has never really given me any real trouble. The issues it has now deal with those items listed under bad above and could easily be handled by an enthusiast.
People will ask so, this is the why, I do not have time to fiddle with my Land Rovers anymore and so this is the last of the five Land Rovers I owned and it is up for sale. It was my wives daily driver up until October 14, 2017. She said, with winter coming on, she wanted heat and I said, lets geta different car. She jumped on that idea andthat is the why.
Emissions are not tested in my county so, I assume it would pass since there is not a check engine light on, but I don't know for sure.
Finally, it is a used P38 Range Rover. If you are familiar with these vehicles I think you will be very satisfied that this is one that currently runs and drives well. It is by no means in mint condition. It has been driven, but not taken off road other than snow in the winter to get back and forth to work. I would think it would take some effort to bring it back to a mint condition. It is probably better suited as a daily driver for someone who just loves to drive the P38. it could also be taken the other direction of being modified into a serious off road vehicle. since the drivetrain is still functioning as it should.
It is sold as is. You bid, you win, you bought it. Ask all the questions you want. If you want a picture of something specific, send a message with your email and I will get back with you. Plan on picking it up. I don't know how to do the shipping thing.
